PSC Biotech continues to be a great place to work. A constant stream of new business keeps everyone busy and enthused about working for PSC. Management continues to be innovative and ahead of the fast changing curve in the biotech consulting business. Since my last review was posted PSC has continued to show its faith in my abilities and I remain a loyal and committed member of the PSC team. PSC remains a fun place to work and there is good interaction between staff and management.
단점:The job does require travel and some time away from home. For me, that's still an exciting aspect of the job, but may not be for everyone.

It's obvious that PSC is growing rapidly. The great thing is that PSC gives everything right back to their employees. They just increased all benefits with increased pto, doubled 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and even added fun perks like gym and wellness plans, pet insurance, and more. The COO and VP have been doing trainings for all employees, and I see that there are more in the works by other members of management (CSO). There is constant communication between the home base (project manager, recruiter, hr, and accounting) to make sure consultants are taken care of. It's very different from other consulting companies. Lots of great things seem to be in the works, and I can tell management is passionate and cares about the employees and their growth.
단점:If I switch from one project to another, my project manager changes. Could be a good thing - just something to get used to.

Hey guys, it's been a couple of years since I've been working at PSC Biotech and I thought it would be helpful to give you an update. In the past three years, I've gotten two key promotions and seen a significant increase in my salary. The company continues to grow at a fast pace and the job is both rewarding and exciting. I have a great group of co-workers and clients. Work is exciting, fulfilling and fast-paced. Some newcomers can't handle the pace or pressure of working with a wide range of customers, but they soon leave for a less demanding job. For me, a key part of the satisfaction I have with the job comes from the knowledge that the work I'm doing is critical to the mission of my clients in the biotech industry. As a project manager, I oversee the work of a team dedicated to the implementation of our world-class enterprise quality management software for leading companies in the industry. The experience I've gained in these key implementations has positioned me to do pretty much anything I want in the field and should I ever leave PSC they have given me a great career boost.
단점:Sure, I'd like to earn more money, but I feel I'm paid fairly and have no complaints.

PSC has been a win-win company to work for over the past three years. I've been paid more than fairly, learned a great deal about the industry and am well positioned for my future career as a project manager. Over the course of my career at PSC, I've worked with more than 70 different companies on a wide variety of project management engagements. Some have been one-off engagements, which others are a regular assignment. To say that my experiences have been varied and interesting would be a gross understatement. Both my clients and co-workers have been great to work with. Even the not-so-great ones have been educational and taught me the value of patience and understanding. PSC's management is great. My supervisor is there when I need her, but otherwise gives me the freedom to do my job. Given PSC worldwide commitments we don't see much of the CEO and top management, but they do make a point to communicate to the field offices and I've been impressed by the meetings I've had. All in all, PSC has been a great place to work and I would recommend it to anyone considering a career in the biotech industry.
단점:While the variety of clients and independence is something I like, I could see that for some it would be a bit scary if they don't have confidence in their ability to get the job done.

I'm celebrating my fourth year working for PSC Biotech. The company has been great to work for and the experience I've gained in this job has been priceless. My co-workers are great to work with and I've found PSC's management from my supervisor on up to the CEO to be invested in growing not only the company but the company's employee's. In my role as a validation engineer I've worked with an impressive variety of biotech companies, many of them leaders in the industry. My clients are a mix of long-term customers and short term engagements where we are asked to solve a particular issue. I've received a couple of attractive offers from companies I've worked with, but have so far stayed with PSC as the overall package continues to be the most attractive and the growth opportunities with PSC continue to be impressive.
단점:The job does involved some travel and time away from home, so be aware of that going in. The work culture at PSC is fast paced and it's not a place to work at if you don't enjoy doing your best.

As this is my last work day of 2017 it seems like a good time to let others know what a great company PSC Biotech is. I've been here for almost two years now and have no regrets about accepting this job. I've found my co-workers, management and customers to be easy to get along with and helpful whenever I've needed encouragement. The promises made when I signed on have all been met or exceeded and I plan to be here for another couple of years. The clients I have are, for the most part, interesting companies to consult with and I've learned a great deal from them about the biotech industry. For me the varied client list has been a plus and has given me a window on the industry. This both helps me in my current job and will prove invaluable for my future. From day one my co-workers have been helpful and quickly made me feel like a part of the company. When I need help they are quick to respond; at the same time I'm given the room to do my job. Management seems responsive to new ideas and willing to think outside of the box. We are encouraged to put forth new concepts of how to do things and given freedom in our interaction with our customers. The bottom line is that for a person not too long out of college PSC is a great place to learn about the biotech industry and prepare yourself for a great future. I have no doubt that 2018 will prove to be as exciting and rewarding as was 2017.
단점:None really. There is travel involved, but I find that exciting.

There are some really good reasons to work at PSC. For starters, the company is a pacesetter in the biotech industry and anyone working here is going to learn a lot. Management seems committed to helping employees gain new skills through OJT and a liberal education policy. I've worked with a variety of companies in the field and have fielded several job offers from customers to go to work with them full-time, but so far the appeal of PSC and the diverse job I have has served to keep me with the company. What I've gained from PSC in addition to on the job skills is a sense of self-confidence in my ability to solve problems. Each day is a new and exciting experience and no two days are ever the same. The work at PSC is pretty fast paced and I put in more than 40 hours a week, but that's fine with me. The company is good about offering flex time and things stay in balance. Most of my co-workers are supportive and know what they are doing. My supervisor is a great person who gives me room to do my job, but is also there if I need help or advice. As far as I can see, PSC's top management is invested in the company and are making it grow. I could see myself leaving PSC at some point in the future, but it would take a really great offer for me to move on.
단점:All companies have their good points and bad, but PSC seems to have far more good than bad. Of course, there is always a jerk or two in the office, but they are in the minority and they don't seem to last too long.

Innovative and growing company in a exciting field. The job is never boring and the people I work with are first rate. Interesting mix of clients and issues to help them resolve. There is a fair amount of travel in the job and while some may find that difficult I enjoy it. Co-workers and management are supportive and helpful. If you need help in solving a client's problem management is there to help ; otherwise you are left to do your job. In order words a great place to learn and grow.

PSC is a good place to work. There are lots of opportunities for advancement, the training program is great and there are lots of good people working here. This is my first full time job after graduation and I consider myself lucky to have found PSC Biotech as a place to start my career. As an engineer at PSC, my job is to help our clients ensure that they follow the correct manufacturing guidelines and adhere to ever increasing regulations that govern the biotech industry. A small mistake in the manufacturing process can cost a company a substantial amount of money down the line if not corrected early on and I take pride in helping companies achieve their goals. The job has its challenges but with the help of my awesome colleagues, everything is able to be resolved. I can't say enough positive things about my co-worker, my supervisor and the top management of PSC. Everyone works together to make sure that we deliver a quality product to our customers.
단점:As others have noted some of the jobs at PSC requires travel that can last up to a week. For me, that's an exciting part of the job, but anyone taking on a job that means being away from home should be sure beforehand that's what they want to do.

PSC Biotech is an exciting company in an stimulating and exciting industry. My experience has been nothing but positive. The company is supportive of its employees and encourages personal growth and achievement. At the same time, it's a fast moving and challenging workplace and everyone is expected to be at the top of their game. As part of a team, I work with a group of professionals who were willing to help me out when I first started and taught me how to maximize my potential within the company. Working with each other is a company priority and I've embraced the chance to help new people out in their first few months on the job and help them become comfortable in their role. From the CEO to the office manager everyone is friendly and there is a feeling that we are all part of the same team and working towards the same goal of providing excellent service to our customers.
단점:I'm pretty happy here. Some have commented on the travel demands, but it's not been an issue for me.

I've been with PSC Biotech for the four years working as a project engineer. It's a good job with excellent pay and benefits and a great workplace environment. PSC is a leader in the biotech consulting field, working with a variety of clients in the US and around the world. In my role as a project engineer, I get to work with a number of other PSC staff on larger jobs or sometimes am in the field by myself. One of the things that has impressed me is how comfortable I am working at PSC as a woman. There has never been even a hint of sexual stereotyping and the company operates with gender blinders on. For me, biotech is an exciting and challenging field to be working in and I'm always challenged to do my best. Management is open to new ways of doing things and employees are encouraged to speak up when ever they figure out a better way of doing things. PSC is a good company for anyone to work for, but it is a particularly good place for someone just out of college to consider as their first real job. You'll learn a lot and have an awesome time doing it.
단점:The usual comment about a lot of travel and time on the road. I'm used to it and it's not a big deal, but it could be hard if you have a family.

I feel pretty lucky to have found a home at PSC Biotech. I love science in general and the whole biotech field in particular and PSC gives me a chance to do what I enjoy. It can't get much better than that! As a single woman, I enjoy the travel and meeting of new people that the job provides. The people around our field office are great and when I do spend time in Madison or Pomona, I feel a part of the larger... team right away. As a project engineer, I'm required to be constantly upgrading my skills and knowledge base to give the best service possible to our customers. PSC is supportive of continuing education and supports my efforts to stay ahead of the field in our competitive industry. As a service/consultant organization, PSC works with a wide variety of customers in the US and around the world. I've had some assignments that have been awesome and some others that have been less than exciting, but on the whole, it's been a great experience. The work is fast paced and while everyone is supportive of each other people who are not willing to work hard and keep up will become unpopular. To me, that's a challenge, but I suppose for some it would make them uncomfortable.
단점:As mentioned there is travel involved, at least for my kind of position, so someone who wants to stay at home should look for a different position (there are non-travel positions at PSC). Also, PSC is a young company in the sense that is fast-paced and has many attributes of a start-up. For me that's great, but some may find it hard to adapt to the 'new' way of doing things.

I work as a full-time consultant at PSC Biotech. What that means is that I accept assignments around the US and around the world. The assignments generally range from several weeks to several months. In the past three years, I've worked for PSC in China, Singapore, Ireland, Germany and the Philippines as well as numerous US locations. While on assignment either PSC or the hiring company takes care of housing... and per diem. The work is interesting and I've gotten to meet a wide variety of people and companies. Sometimes I will go out as part of a PSC team covering several different fields, while other times I've been on my own. Generally, the companies and the people have been interesting and challenging. In other words, I'm having fun. Thanks to PSC I've gotten the education and experience that will prove invaluable to my future where ever it is.
단점:You need to like to travel if you take on the type of job I have. You also need to be very comfortable in working in different locations and with a variety of people.

Let's see. Good people, good job, good pay and lots of interesting things to do. This is only my second company to work for, but it's head above my first experience. At PSC I've felt valued since day one. When there's something I don't know, people are ready to be of help. At the same time, I'm given the freedom to do my job. The people I work with are great. The office (when I'm in it!) is a fun place with all... the usual get-togethers and support when it's needed. People are friendly and supportive. The job itself is always interesting and sometimes exciting. There is a lot of new stuff that needs to be learned on a regular basis and keeping up can be a challenge. Days can be long - don't count on a 8 hour day at PSC, but the company recognizes that sometimes it takes longer to get the job done right and compensates for it either with bonuses or extra time off. If you decide to come to PSC, you'll probably be as happy as I am.
단점:The job does have travel involved, so know that going in. Also, there is a variety of clients we work with and naturally some are easier to get along with than others.

We work hard, but we also have time to bond and have fun. The job requires working with a variety of clients in different locations. There is alway something new happening with my clients and while it's a challenge to keep up with all new stuff going on, it... also produces constant growth. If you like to travel, which I do, then you'll enjoy this job. It's never boring and there is always something new going on. I'm not sure how long I'll stay with PSC, but for now it's a great place to work and grow.
단점:The company has locations across the U.S., so there is not a great chance to meet people in the other offices.

PSC is a pretty good place to work. The people are fun to be around, the work is interesting and the pay is pretty good. What's not to like! The company focuses on work in the biotech and pharmacology industry by providing a wide range of consulting service's both onsite and off. My job sees me spending about 60% of my time on the client's site and the balance in the office. I work on helping companies streamline... their production lines to improve quality control and ensure compliance with FDA requirements for manufacturing. Some companies are better to work with than others, but overall it works out pretty well. I get to know the people in the company which is pretty informative and am constantly learning new skills. PSC is supportive of continuing education to keep me at the top of my field. Both my co-workers, supervisors, and management are easy to work with. The company encourages input on a variety of issues and is responsive to employee concerns while staying focused on the overall mission of the company. For someone starting out in the biotech consulting business, PSC Biotech would be a good place to start. You'll learn new skills and work with quality people.
단점:You can get stuck with a client that is less interesting or responsive than some others, but most assignments are not too long. The job does require travel away from home, so be aware of that beforehand.

I've only been with PSC for a little over a year but have found the company a pretty good place to work. In fact, I found my job as a Technical Writer through Glassdoor and it was a good choice. PSC is primarily a consulting company that works with customers in the biotech field through short and long term contracts. My specific job is to work with several pharmaceutical clients writing cGMP manufacturing documents..., Product Specifications, SOPs, and engineering related material in support their engineering process. I have multiple clients and the job does require a good degree of flexibility as you will be assigned new clients based on a regular basis. For me, I find that a positive as I'm constanly being exposed to new technologies and challenged to learn new things in a new enviroment. The company is supportive and provides ready access to supervisors and management to resolve any conflicts with customers. IMHO, managment does a good job of supporting staff and when changes are needed in a work situation they recognize that the fault does not necessarily lie with the employee and they work to find a positive outcome for everyone. My best advice if you considering working for PSC is to ask a lot of questions during the interview and talk to some current or former employee's about the company. My guess is that you'll find most people are pretty excited about PSC and think it's a great place to work. I know I do.
단점:Biotech and pharmaceuticals are heavily regulated industries and the guidelines are constantly changing. You will need to stay up to date.

PSC is an established company in the biotech industry. The company specializes in matching skilled consultants with biotech companies needing both short and long term consulting and advisory services. I've been with the company for the past five years and consider the company and the job a great learning opportunity. Our office in Chicago has some great people and it's a fun place to work. I work with a number of... different clients and probably spend an average of 3 days a week off-site. Some of the contracts are one-off deals where we go in as a team or individual and resolve a specific problem for the client, while others are long term contracts where I go and conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with various policies and procedures. The variety of tasks and clients keeps the job interesting and challenging. PSC is a pretty good company to work for. Salary and benefits are above average and the company shows respect for employees who show initiative and are invested in the job. My co-workers and management are a great group of people who are available when needed. The amount of 'busy' work is kept to a minimum and the focus is on getting the job done right the first time around.
단점:Some people find they don't like the responsibility that goes with the freedom to get the job done. Also, there is some travel involved, but most nights I'm home.

This is an awesome company to work for. People are great, job is interesting and I get paid for it! What more could one ask for. I assume that you're on this page since you're thinking of applying for a job at PSC and want to check the company out. You probably know what kind of work we do in the biotech industry and your background is a fit with PSC. What you don't know about is the kind of company we have and... how it is to work here, so that's my focus. PSC is a company that never stands still - there is always something new happening here and it's an exciting ride. For some a changing landscape can be scary, but for me it's what makes life interesting. Getting to work with a variety of clients is greats. Of course, some are better to work with than others, but that's the case in all jobs and most relationships. It's never boring! We have a great team and if you need help it's always there for the asking, but at the same time we are given the leeway to make our own decisions and set our goals. Sure, sometimes I run across things that are new to me and I need to get up to speed to meet the needs of the client, but the company is supportive of my continuing education in my field. All in all, this is a great place and if you're looking for a new company to work for with a great team of people and a solid leadership that knows what they are doing, then I'd highly recommend PSC to you.
단점:As a consulting company we often have to travel to where are customers are, so there is a fair amount of travel involved. For me that's part of the fun, but be sure you're OK with it before signing on. Of course, there are some jobs in the company that don't require travel.

If you find the field of biotech and exciting and fulfilling career choice then you should take a good look at PSC Biotech. I've been here for the last four plus years and it's proved to be a good job that allows me to work with awesome people in an exciting field. When I first started at PSC I thought that I might be here for two years at most before moving on, but I'm still here and the job is as much fun today... as it was when I first started. I've had the opportunity to move on several times, but each time PSC has responded by making me aware that I'm a valuable member of the team and I'd miss the people and the clients. As a project manager, my job involves being willing to take on new challenges and be willing to learn new things. The entire biotech industry is one that is a constant flux and to stand still is to fall behind. PSC has been supportive by supporting continuing education that keeps me on top of the changing standards. About 70% of my time is spent in the field working at clients site. There are some ongoing contracts with companies, and some one- time jobs where a PSC team goes in to solve a particular. problem. PSC pays well and the benefits are good. Management is supportive without being overbearing. The team gets along well with each other and its a supportive work environment. If you're interested in working in the biotech field I'd encourage you to take a look at PSC.
단점:There is travel involved and some time in the field. Most of my clients are in the Denver area, but I probably average a week a month traveling to other locations in the region.

I thought that giving you some insight into the company I work for, PSC Biotech, would be a good way to start off the new year. I'm starting my third year of working for PSC and it's a pretty great company, at least as far as I'm concerned. PSC is a cutting-edge biotech company that works with a wide number of industry leaders offering a wide variety of innovative consultative services in IT, project engineering... and validation support to life science companies around the country and worldwide. In my job, I work with a variety of pharmaceutical companies in the SW/SE US offering validation and compliance consulting services. I have regular clients that I work with on a regular basis as well as a number of one-off engagements. I may spend one day on-site or up to several weeks depending on the assignment. PSC pays well - probably well above average for persons with the right background and temperament. The job is not easy, but you are given all the support and training that you need. PSC was more than willing to make an investment in me when I first joined, but it also has high expectations for its employees to do a good job for our clients. The people I work with are supportive and the office environment makes PSC a great place to work. Management is open to new ideas and is willing to go out of their way to make the work-life experience a positive one. All in all, PSC has proved to be a great place to work and grow my career.
단점:Most of the professional positions require some amount of travel and time on the road. For some, that could be an interest so be sure you check it out ahead of time.

Seems like a good place to make a career. PSC is a cutting edge company that is fast moving and expects employees to know their job and deliver quality work to our customers. If you do your job, you will be well... rewarded in terms of salary and advancement; if you don't then the company will make a sincere effort to bring you up to speed. However, if you are kind of person who is looking for an easy job where you just put in your 8 hours and call it a day, then you may want to think twice about PSC. All of us, not just management, expect everyone to be professional in their job. I'll bend over backwards to help out a new person, but once I feel that person is not really as committed as I am to doing a good job, I don't want them holding other back. The job requires some travel. The company is pretty good about adjusting for extra time on the road, but the reality is that sometimes the week can get pretty long in order to get the job done. My co-workers are fun to work with and we function as a team with the common goal of delivering quality service to our clients. IMO, salary and benefits are above average for the industry and while I'm always on the lookout for a better opportunity, so far PSC has proven to be a winner for me.
단점:You need to be OK with traveling. Not all weeks work out to 40 hours and you need to have flexibility in your personal life.

I've worked for PSC Biotech for the past six years and this is my last full week at work. I've read some of the reviews on Glassdoor and I agree with most of them. PSC has been a good company to work for and if you should decide to work here you will not be disappointed. Indeed, a lot can be said about the company in the way that PSC handled my leaving. I found a really great opportunity that will allow me to... start my own company which has been dream since college. Not only was PSC supportive of my decision and very flexible in setting my departure dates, but they have promised to consider my new company for contracts where there might be some crossover. Not all companies would be as supportive. In leaving I will miss those that I have worked with for the past six years. It's been a great team of people who pull together to meet deadlines and serve the needs of the customer. Sometimes the hours are long, but the spirit has always been great.
단점:None. This has been a great company to work for.

I work as a contractor for PSC Biotech out of the Pomona office. For me, this is a better choice than working as a salaried employee as it gives me more freedom to do other things and/or chose what jobs to do. In reality, I work just about full time for PSC as there are always new contracts coming up. I'm single so I have the freedom to take on contacts in different cities or even different countries. Earlier this... year I spent nearly a month in the UK doing a project for client early in 2017 I'm looking to do some work in China for a month or so. Depending on the job requirements, PSC often puts together a team of experts and offers the client a turn key installation of key health care or bio tech services. I enjoy these assignments as you get to work with people is similar but somewhat different fields which is always a great opportunity for learning. Most of our clients are good to work with as well. They are motivated to learn what we have to offer so that they can take over the operations once the new systems have been installed. It's pretty exciting to be taking on new projects in new locations on a regular basis. PSC offers very competitive pay rates and are good about expenses. In the five years that I've been doing work for them I've had virtually no issues or problems that haven't been resolved with a phone call or two.
단점:For some positions there is a lot of travel. You'll know that going in so it should not present a problem for anyone.

The holiday season is about giving thanks and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my employer, PSC Biotech for a job well done. I've worked for several companies over the years and have found the people at PSC to be much better than average. I work in HR and thus have a good understanding of the inner workings of the company which works with a lot of contractors and full-time professionals. As is always... the case, there are some people that are better at their job than others, and some that are happier than others. Many of our staff are in direct contact with clients and need to be able to work well with our clients and with the team. As part of HR, I've seen some people who have either been let go or been unhappy in their job. Management is very insistent that even when someone is not working out that they be given every chance to improve their skills and if it does become evident that a person simply can fit into the team, the separation process is done with kindness and consideration. I assume that people on Glassdoor are here looking for a job, not thinking about leaving one, but a key part of finding the right job is knowing how the company will treat you even if things don't work out. Part of my job is doing regular salary evaluations to ensure that our pay scales are attractive enough to attract the kind of talent PSC is looking for. When I run comparison studies PSC ranks in the top 20% and in areas where we fall short management makes adjustments. The company is committed to finding the best people for the job. PSC is a fun place to work. There is a great team spirit and most people genuinely like each other. I enjoy going to work each and every day and am happy.
단점:Well, if you've never lived in Wisconsin the winters can be a challenge if you don't like the snow and cold. I've lived here all my life and love it, but it's not for everyone.

Funny how different people can have different experiences at the same company. In my case, I have nothing but praise for PSC Biotech. I love my job, find it fulfilling and challenging and feel my co-workers and management are committed to creating an exciting company that knows that the key to success is its employees. I've worked here for a little over 2 years. I've received training, salary advances and... acknowledgment when I've done a good job. I don't find the pay to be below market and, in fact, I make more than others I know working in the field at similar positions. I don't personally know the top management of the company (I work in a field office), but from everything I've heard he's respected and well liked.
단점:You need to be OK with travel and working with new customers. For me, that part of the enjoyment

Entry level jobs are worthwhile looking into if you're trying to get a foot in the door to the industry.
단점:The number of quality resources have diminished over the years. Cost cutting and margin boosting efforts have decimated this once promising company. This, along with a narcissistic CEO made it very difficult to continue working at PSC Biotech. Seasoned professionals need not apply if you prefer to keep your reputation intact. PSC's competition is a much better option.

I like working for PSC. The job is challenging and exciting and the people I work with are great. I saw a recent review that complained about the CEO, but all my encounters with John have been great. At PSC you work hard and get rewarded well for your efforts. I'm never bored and there is always something new happening with my clients. The company keeps me current on the latest developments in our field of biotech.... While I don't plan to leave PSC, I do believe in keeping my options open and check out Glassdoor to see if there are better opportunities out there for me. So far, nothing has come along better than PSC.
단점:The job does require some travel and overnights. Not a big deal for me, but some might not like it.

The entire biotech industry is enjoying great growth and that is reflected at PSC Biotech. Our company is often called in to provide on the spot consultation on manufacturing process, planning and growth strategy for a wide variety of companies in the industry. I've been with the company for the past six years and there's never been a dull moment. As with any job, there are some things that I enjoy better than... others, but the ratio of good to bad is about 8 to 1. The people I work with are all first rate and the company gives you plenty of room to grow. Some co-workers find the number of clients we work for to be a downsize, but I like having new challenges and new people to interact with. I've learned a great deal in my six years at PSC Biotech and the experienced has given me a great future, either with PSC or with one of my client companies. Management encourages employee innovation and if you have a good idea the company is more than willing to give it a try. It makes everyone feel like they have a stake in the company.
단점:Some don't like the travel and working with new people.

Mostly offers everyone the same flat, low rate which is well below competitors. Hire too many new graduates with no experience. Corporate is slow to respond, if at all. Corporate acts like salesmen, will say anything to keep you happy. No advancement opportunities. Does not do well with... offering FLMA/maternity/time off to care for family/etc, they don't offer it but instead let people go. Won't offer local positions but instead pushes for out of state roles. Once you are out of state, good luck trying to return

I worked at PSC Biotech for four years in the L.A. area. I recently got married and moved to the Bay area and started my new job of raising our first child. PSC was a great place to work and I gained a lot, both personally and professionally from my time there. PSC has a great culture that fully support and engages women. There's no "old boys club," and you are treated based on your skills and contributions, not... your gender. That should not have to be news today, but the reality is that not all companies have fully committed themselves to providing equal pay and opportunity for women the way that PSC has. The job was interesting and challenging and the people fun and engaging. If you're interested in the biotech industry this is a great opportunity and a good company.
단점:There is travel involved which may or may not be an issue for some.

단점:The only con I would say is if you do not like change or constantly learning new things joining a consulting firm may not be the best option. You will need to be adaptable and flexible.

단점:The CEO. Does not practice business ethically and will use employees as scape goats. It is a shame because he is surrounded by talented people. All other executives are great. Many of the reviews on glass door were likely filled out by the CEO to boost this companies score. Filter through carefully.

I recently moved on from my job in HR with PSC Biotech and wanted to share my experience in working for a great company. I worked with PSC for seven years, primarily in HR. However, one of the truly exciting things about PSC was the willingness of management to let me experience new opportunities far outside the normal definition of an HR job. My opinion was often asked in operational situations and not confined... to my main role. I think that's what made PSC such a great company. The focus in on serving the customer by putting together the best team possible to meet whatever the client needs. In my HR role, I found top management always to be attuned to the needs of staff. We were careful to meet all state, and federal requirements for HR and an atmosphere of respect towards all employees came from the top down. In my experience salary and benefits were towards the high side for similar companies in our field and the turnover was minimal. If you get a chance to work at PSC, you will not be disappointed.
단점:As a fast growing company, there is always something new happening or new people being added. This is not bad, but change always produces a bit of stress.

Management encourages us to be flexible in working with issues that arise and we are given a good deal of latitude in resolving problems. and conflicts. Of course, not everyone fits well into any system and there are issues that arise from time to time, which is what HR is there to resolve.
단점:It's a pretty good place to work and most of the problems are related to some people who are never happy. Sometimes, I feel that PSC spends too much time trying to work things our with unhappy employees instead of encouraging them to move on.

PSC Biotech is part of the growing and exciting field of biotech. My job consists of working with different clients of PSC in the L.A. area. I'm out of the office probably 3 out of 5 days, which for me makes for an exciting and interesting job. I work with clients engaged in different aspects of product development and manufacturing, providing review and verification of their processes to ensure best business... practices and compliance with various regulatory requirements. Sometimes I will be part of a PSC team working with a client on a project implementation. My co-workers are, as a rule, highly skilled and easy to work with. The company is supportive of personal and professional initiative and rewards for good work.
단점:None that really matter. I tend to believe that if I'm unhappy at a job it's my responsibility to change, not my employer. I like the job, I like the people, and I like the compensation.

The nature of my job as an engineering consultant is to work with a wide variety of clients located throughout the central US. I find the pace exciting, and I enjoy meeting a wide variety of customers and helping them with their unique engineering needs. The job is well paying and offers a sense of satisfaction in helping companies get their product to market on time and in the most efficient manner possible The people I work with are supportive and PSC if a fun place to work. I don't know if I'll make this my long term career or not, but it's an excellent training ground for whatever I might want to do next.
단점:You do need to have flexibility to be successful here as you will be working with new clients and on new and different products. Those that need a lot of supervision may find the independence uncomfortable.

I go to work each day with a sense of excitement and enjoyment. I'm doing something that is important and of benefit to others and it doesn't get much better than that. The company is always trying new approaches to maximize our impact with our clients and is quick to learn from mistakes. Management is hands on without being intrusive. If you need additional training all you need to do is ask. Co-workers are motivated in their jobs and everyone gets along pretty well. As with any mid-size to large organization there are always a few misfits, but they tend to not last long as the work load is challenging. I get to work with a variety of clients and find the experience rewarding, but you need to be able to adapt to new enviroments and work with a variety of people.
단점:As mentioned above you need to be able to work in a variety of settings and get along well with people. There is travel involved in the job.

Some jobs are just jobs but working at PSC Biotech is an exciting and rewarding experience. I get to go to work every day with people who are motivated, smart and fun to be with. Part of the fun in working at PSC is the variety of clients that I get to deal with. Many of the companies that I work with are doing really innovative and exciting work in the field of biotech. The job requires - maybe allow is a better word - that I stay on top of the latest trends in biotech as well as being current in the ever changing world of FDA rules and regulations. I have a great manager. She is always available when I need her, but she gives me the freedom to do my job. I've found PSC a great company to work for. The salary and benefits seem to be in line or better than other companies that I've talked with.
단점:You should be OK with traveling if you decide to work with PSC, at least if you work in validation or engineering.

It's hard to believe that some of the recent reviews are of the same company that I've worked for more than five years. I've found PSC a great company to work for with benefits at or above the industry norm. I've worked in several different roles within the company and each time I've moved to a new position it has turned out just as it was promised. Like all companies there a few bad apples but, for the most part, my peers and management are great to work with. I find my job challenging, interesting, and rewarding. I work hard at my job, but I would not want it any other way. If you do your job well, you will be rewarded for your efforts. If you don't know something or have an issue, I've always found management, including the CEO, to be open to listening to my viewpoint respectfully. My advice to anyone looking to work at PSC is to make sure you understand the mission of the company and your role in it. If you do so, you'll find PSC a great place to work.

PSC Biotech has been good to me and I've been good to them. In other words a winning job! The Company is on a fast growth track which shows no signs of stopping. In turn that gives me job security and the opportunity to do and interesting things. One thing about working here is that it never gets boring! The salary and benefits are comparable to above the industry norm. The Company is well regarded and I've gotten offers from competitors and clients to move to them but all in all this remains the best fit for me. The management structure is just enough - by that I mean that if you need help or direction it's there, but you are also respected enough to decide. My supervisor is always responsive and helpful, but she also gives me the freedom to do my job without stepping in.
단점:Every place has a few negatives and a few bad apples. There are a couple of people in the office that probably should be doing something else. The travel can sometimes get a bit much, but I knew that going in. I'd love to get six weeks of vacation time, but I understand why companies don't do that.

What makes PSC a good place to work is the diversity of jobs and opportunities. It seems there is always some new project or initiative coming online, and that makes the job exciting. While PSC is always actively hiring new people, it does not forget those who are already working for the company. Generally speaking, existing employees are given a chance to apply for new positions that open up and the company encourages training and education. Beyond that. it's a fun place to work and the salary and benefits are certainly equal to or better than other companies in the same field.
단점:Before signing on with PSC be sure you are aware if your position requires travel and/or relocation. PSC works with companies across the US (and the world for that matter) with some engagements being short term (a week or two) while others are for extended periods of time. For me, these kinds of opportunities are exciting but others it may have some downside.
