Location, friendly colleagues, working hours, beautiful and well-equipped pantry. Partners are mostly nice to work with. No micro-managing. Understanding bosses who allow working from home during desperate times.
단점:More team building on a firm basis rather than just fee earners.

Litigation team was friendly, helpful and learnt a lot.

Nicely designed office (at least on the outside)
단점:JMP spends most of the money on photoshoots and extra-curricular activity that the whole firm needs to participate in. Micromanages aspects that you would not imagine could be micromanaged. phone calls must be picked up within X amt of rings, paper cannot be left at the photocopying machine. etc etc. Toxic environment that does not treat staff like adults. You can work late / work from home but attendance is taken... every morning. The receptionist is roped in to report those who were 'late' for work.

단점:Poor Management. Self Entitled and Poor Leadership Superiors. Lack of Empathy. No Work Life Balance. No Staff Welfare. Unreasonable (Narcissist ALERT) Joint Managing Director.

Pays above market rate Nice pantry but lousy coffee
단점:Horror stories where good working employees get fired for no reason. Other staff got pay cut and spoken to to reduce bonus payout. Only thing to learn is filing, seriously. Attendance at work equates to good performance and commitment - doesn’t matter if your work quality is poor, as long as attendance is stellar. Time in and out of office are tracked and monitored. One of the Management partners... will scream and bark out loud in office if there are too many warehousing boxes around your desk, if the office painting is slanted in the office and at the reception. Bonus payout is in January (60%) and June (40%) instead of December. Official knock off time is 5.30pm, but email is out discouraging going off on time even if you complete your day’s work. Spend so much on photo shoot, video shoot, and website.

Demanding work, pressurising environment. A good challenge that forces you to think about your own future legal career.
단점:No collegial work environment. You really do feel your place at the bottom of a food chain here.

단점:Not much really. The culture is quite distinctive, which may not suit everyone's personality.

Good and friendly bosses. Strong family culture. Enjoyed my stay there, learned a fair bit too.
단점:Long hours required when there are conference meetings with the clients. Loads of documents.
