As an entry-level employee, the Townsend Group staff pays attention to your aspirations and works them into your everyday tasks. For someone looking to grow in their career, this is the place for you. Everyone in the office truly cares about the work they are doing and are constantly looking for positive opportunities and... room for growth for their clients. The culture of the Townsend Group is very positive and you can tell management is looking for ways to continue to improve upon themselves. Since joining the SmithBucklin family, the Townsend Group now has a lot more resources and opportunities for employees to improve through seminars and classes, which are offered several times a month. Plus, great benefits!
단점:The work environment can be extremely busy and fast paced at times. You won’t do well if you’re not dedicated and organized.

The people in Townsend are very friendly and close, but at the same time, they are very good at what they do and perform really well. There is great work life balance in general given their high paced jobs.
단점:Since it is a small company, there are less resources that are available to you compared to the big size companies that recruit alot more and have programs. Yet people here are really friendly and it is really up to you to make the most out of it.

- Staff is great - everyone is nice and willing to support eachother. - Room to express ideas and be creative. - The firm is small, so there are a lot of opportunities for entry level employees to get experience in different areas of the industry. - Even though our firm is small, we are owned by SmithBucklin, so you still have the benefits of working for a larger corporation. - Work directly with high-level... association executives, as well as senior marketing contacts.
단점:- Because we are so small, it can be difficult when others don't pull their weight or when employees turnover. - Everyone is very busy, so employees need to be proactive. Would not be a good environment for someone that needs a lot of hand holding.

The office is in a decent location and the employees try to overcome the issues management creates. Unfortunately every day is very negative.
단점:You'll find yourself in the worst ethical positions. Owner insists on telling clients things that just aren't true or possible. High turnover - which is a shame because employees are mainly very hard-working but become discouraged. Owner micro manages and tracks everything, even when you go to the rest room.

Some of the clients I worked with made the job bearable. I made some good friends with my fellow sales managers. Unfortunately, most of them have also left the company.
단점:Unfortuntely, the owner of the company gave the sales staff no respect; berates you in sales meetings; and does not gives you the respect that you deserve.

Global house with great connection to all the major Limited Partners and General Partners. Easier access to the capital and market information.
단점:Everything is great. Culture, brand name, work life balance, etc, etc. However, the compensation does not match with the market standard.
