If you get on a contract, you can get a good salary, and decent travel benefits. If you don't have another choice: better than nuthin'.
단점:Family owned business where the Program Manager controls everything. You will get laid-off when your contract ends. Start planning because they will not carry you. If you try to bring in business, the Program Manager will take credit for your efforts or get mad at you for "trying to do my job".

Dedicated employees who serve as contractors to government projects.
단점:Few managers there, they don't do anything just search for new business and ignore existing contracts until something becomes a problems and blows up at which point it is too late.
