Great for people starting their career or pivoting in their careers. I would recommend this poition for a recent MBA or JD. It is one of the few place you can do international work within the US.
단점:Little room for job advancement. For the base level positions can be unsatisfying, as seen from the other reviews. And because UBIFRANCE is at it's base a governmental agency executive level position are made by appointment from Paris.

Meeting many different local players (networking, trade shows, conferences, store visits, etc.) and international clients
단점:Cannot advance much (just Trade Advisor and Senior Trade Advisor), extreme fluctuation of workload (very high to very low) depending on projects. Also had the misfortune of working in a highly dysfunctional team where communication was almost non-existent so things just got worse rather than better. Also very sensitive to overall economic outlook.

Five weeks vacation is the only pro.
단점:One really doesn't learn any transferable skills at this job. All you do is telemarketing and cold calls--great if you want to continue in telemarketing... Upper management is often a joke. The non-management staff rotates out every few years, so there is no continuity of knowledge base. Compensation is a joke; COLA often unseen. No benefits. Have to get your own health insurance. You have to file quarterly taxes,... as self-employed, yet don't get real self-employed tax benefits. Morale is incredibly low.

단점:You are considered self-employed which carries with it the burden of self-employed tax contributions without the writeoffs most would have with that status. The salary is terrible compared to the same positions working for other governments or the level of experience some might have.

No stress,4-5 dead-lines per year, a lot of holidays, no long working hours. It's a good place to start or to finish the career.
단점:Low investment in local human ressources. Restricted training options. Some information is not shared. Individualistic work environment. Nation discrimination towards those who are not French :if you are not French, you don't have a lot of chance to be promoted. Ineffective, not dynamic and highly administrive.
