• It's a company with a rich history in design. • There’s great working ethic and talent everywhere, such an environment encourages and inspired me as an employee then. • Hierarchy is flat which allows the opportunity for anyone to take lead. As long as you have skin in the game, it’s your time to shine. • Team work is highly encourage • Senior management are highly transparent. 단점:• Mediocrity in work quality is tolerated from time to time because it pays the bills. There's trade-off for such a practice and it may seem to be a necessity to keep the lights on. • During my stint as a designer, big budget projects seems hard to come by due to a lack of opportunities. Because such an event went on for an extended period of time, career development in certain work capacity may stagnate and sometimes become stifling to a person’s creativity. *To be fair, the account of my work experience is a reflection of my time spent working in Edenspiekermann and is by no means an accurate reflection of the state of things in the company today.

The people without a doubt. Friendly, earnest and supportive. Very creative and collaborative coworkers. Great opportunity to grow (when self-initiated or sought out) and opportunities to take lead on many levels.
단점:Very busy, can feel unstructured and chaotic at times. Flat hierarchy means no managers, which can be great for self-growth, but at times can be very overwhelming and feeling like floundering alone.

Interesting projects and there's room for improvement and experimentation within the company. This company's biggest strength however is its people. The whole company feels like one big family. On Thursday mornings they have an internal event with a small 20 minute talk followed by a company paid breakfast buffet. To me this was an unmissable extra during my time at the company. Aside from that they offers some other nice events that are loosely related to work but still feel like fun. I think this is probably the ideal company to start an internship.
단점:In the position I fulfilled there were absolutely none. My time was rather short as an intern but I have zero remarks to make about this company.

The atmosphere is great, I got my own project I worked on during the three months, lots of feedback. Lot's of opportunities for self-development. Free great lunches and they also offer a room next to the office for almost no money.
단점:The wage could be a bit higher, it is not possible to live in Amsterdam for that money. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Nice dev team. Opportunity to work on random internal projects like arduino etc.
단점:Within Espi, projects are managed with varying levels of competency. If you are the kind of dev that values working in a mature dev process and following best practices, then It would be wise to clarify during the hiring process how the project you are being hired for is managed, e.g. talk to current devs on the project and ask if they ever have to do things like releasing to production late in the day, or pushing code to production without code review.

I was put on an integrated scrum/agile team and working more like a junior designer. Awesome team. Great boss. Good vibe and great culture. I feel like a family there. The best internship so far!
단점:I can't really think of any. This is probably the dream internship for any design students.
